The VUARNET t-shirt, with the famous logo spanning its chest, achieved global success during the 1980s, to the point that even today the brand’s many fans share their happy memories.
While the vibe of this lookbook is obviously a vintage wink, it offers a refreshing view of Vuarnet. In parallel, the fitting and the modern materials of this collection create a brigde between today and the 80s.
This exclusive collection is available in 6 colors - from XS to XXL - with pop and acidic variations. On the front, fluorescent logos and pastels take pride of place: sea green, pink, yellow, cyan, sky blue, red and violet. Welcome back to the eighties! On the back, the inscription “It’s a Vuarnet Day since 1957” is a nod to the Los Angeles Olympic Games when VUARNET was the official sponsor. At that time American radio commentators used the now-famous formula, “It’s a Vuarnet day, today!” instead of the normal expression “It’s a sunny day today”.
Faithful to its role to protect from the sun’s rays, VUARNET selected a pima cotton that had been specially treated to ensure protection of the skin against ultraviolet light. A hint of spandex gives a stretch effect, offering a very comfortable garment.
The collection will bring back happy memories for every fan of those glorious years and will equally please the many who are now discovering the world of VUARNET.
